Cashier Training


The Cashier Training course provides participants with the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to function as part of a retail team.

DIVERSEcity’s Cashier Training is comprised of two components: Customer Service Skills and Cash Register Functions.

Students learn all aspects of a retail job in an open and flexible learning environment. They become familiar with various policies, procedures and laws that are an integral part of the job and with basic cash register functions so that they feel comfortable and confident when entering the retail industry. The graduate is prepared to enter the work force with knowledge of what a cashier position entails.

Duration: 24 hours instruction and practice
