On behalf of BCITP Net, Rodolfo Neiva de Sousa, presented to the participants of the Spring Institute, UBC Centre for Intercultural Communications, about issues immigrant-professionals face in British Columbia. Presentation contained information about current immigrant demographics, employment and wage rates and the work members of BCITP Net have been doing for the last five years.

The Centre for Intercultural Communication (CIC) at The University of British Columbia recognizes that understanding and respect between cultures is the key to success in the global arena. The CIC offers programs and services to develop intercultural awareness, understanding and skills for today’s increasingly global academic and business environments.
