MOSAIC has been helping newcomers to Canada face the many challenges of resettling in Canada for over 30 years. We offer many programs and services including a number of employment services.

The Workplace Connections Program matches newcomers with volunteer mentors for 3 months. the Mentors are able to help newcomers understand the subtleties of workplace culture; introduce them to resources and colleagues; assist in finding potential employers or relevant training.

Partners meet once a week for two hours. Meeting times and places are flexible, as works for your schedule.

As a Volunteer Mentor you will:
- Develop your leadership and coaching skills
- Meet interesting people from around the world
- Share your passion for your career
- Help people who genuinely want to learn from you

Who can be a mentor?

We’re keen to hear from you if you’re a non-judgmental, reliable person who has:
- Been employed or self employed in Canada for at least 3 years
- Interest in sharing knowledge of Canadian workplace culture
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- An interest in other cultures.
